This is a good example of how a paver brick walkway can compliment your landscape. This is done dry without concrete or mortar. You have to dig out the walkway 8 inches down. This will allow for 4 inches of 3/4 modified gravel and 2 inches of screening(gravel cinders) or sand which both have to be tamped with a viberplate(motorized vibrating plate) and wetted down after each layer has been tamped and the paver bricks will fill the top 2 inches. The bricks are slightly rounded on the edges and have 3 different sizes that come with the pattern which enables the curves in the walkway. The edge in this walkway are done in a soldier course. After the brick is layed you put a thin layer of sand or screening on top and run the viberplate over it to work the sand or screening into the cracks then wet down and sweep off the excess.
